I need a little help centering the blade on a browning ice storm. I was ok with being off until my son left his this morning for a little touch up on the edge. His is centered and mine is off a little. any help would be great.
by the way he also left his 18mo. with me for the day, it's like watching a griz. only she does'nt bite.

thanks Larry:)

Great knife for the money.
There are a few things you can try.
1. Check if the pivot screw has gotten loose. Sometimes you can adjust the position a little this way.
2. If it's only a little off and above has been checked leave it alone.
3. Some place the blade in a vise and put a little pressure on the handle sideways. Just a little as you don't want to damage the knife. This is mostly with knives having a liner which yours does not. I'm not a fan of this method. Just telling you what others have done.
4. Switch knives with your son.

Not sure if it will work on yours but I have heard of people loosening all the screws and getting the blade centered and the tightening them all back down. Sometimes the order you tighten the screws can effect how it all snugs up.

Might want to give it a try (assuming its not pinned construction).
