Help with chute knife grinding needed

I've already made about 5 chute knives of various lengths, all of which have had a full flat grind, and the clip portion of the blade done by hand with a file.
I've now started working on another, and I'd like to do a hollow grind 2/3 of the way up the blade, and a fully sharpened clip.(like a Loveless)
I've made a couple of double edged blades before, so I know how a double edge "comes right" as you grind, insofar as the centreline and edge thickness work out right as they both reach the correct symmetery.
Whats the best place to start on a chute type grind? Is it best to grind the bevels, and then move onto the clip, or would starting with the clip and then bringing the main grind up to meet it be easier?
The more I think about it , the more I wonder! And the more I wonder, the less keen I am to start without asking someone who knows!
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Cheers, Ian

Sorry, just realised I put this in wrong place. It was meant for makers q & a section. Doh!

It really doesn't matter so much as not taking off too much. Every thing looks right until you bring up the next grind to meet it and Bam! Too thin. I usually do the main bevels first, but leaving the tip extra thick. Then the Clip. Still a Little thick. finally I bring up the main bevel to meet it at the tip.

I'm probably doing it the hard way!

I can see how clip first would possibly be easier! Here are a couple of pic's to study. An older Loveless Chute with a long clip , and a Later Lovett. More like the Loveless shop does it now. (They don't do the holes any longer. They stopped that years ago.)
