Hey all
I got this knife second hand albeit in perfect condition but being the dumbsh!t I am I couldn’t leave well enough alone and I took it apart to clean and basically see the insides. Now I can’t get it centered without being way to tight/stiff. If I get it where I like it action-wise it’s way off center. What the heck did I do and does anyone have any suggestions? I know, I know….. dummy. 🤪

I’m not familiar with that knife but

Make sure the pivot and scales and liners etc are all seated together properly before tightening the pivot.

Assuming that the washers and bearings are correctly installed, here's what usually works for me:

1. Loosen the body screws;
2. Stick a folded up piece of paper (or something else soft and thin) between the blade and liner on the side opposite of the direction you want the blade to move, pushing the blade all the way against the scale/liner in the direction you want it to move;
3. Retighten the body screws;
4. Remove the paper.

Nine times out of 10 that will center the blade after one or two tries.
