I just got a email back from busse concerning a clip point added to a tglb and in it Garth said it would be a small one going from the tip to the start of the fuller. Does anyone know if that would be the same as the ones that are pictured in some of the posts (blade show pics). If anyone has info on this please help thanks.

A clip point is different than a swedge. IIRC, the Blade Show TG have a swedge on either side of the top forward edge. A clip point is a straight or recurved top edge from some place on the spine leading to the tip. A straight clip point may have a swedge, as well.

the blade on the right has a clip point:

the right most blade here has a curved spine with a swedge:

Thanks for the respond I allready have a tglb but I really like the ones with the special touchs I don't know the difference between a swedge and clip I guess but I have seen a few tglbs with different. Cuts toward the tip I like the look or the tip on the satin ty but I'm pretty sure there's no way you could get that done to a tglb. If you guys think all this is just a pointless customization please let me know. Also can you order your knives uncoated. Thanks for the feedback.

Jerry discontinued the uncoated competition finish option. You could always order it with a satin finish. Or just do what I do and strip it.

They don't do satin on TGLB's. I have seen a nice Bowie TGLB from one of the shows. I think it was Blade 2013, Knife Hunter had them.

Found a pic. It has a Bowie clip point, recurve blade, and tequila handles with a tac talon. Man, if you could get that clip sharpened, it would be an awesome Bowie

The fuller does kind of limit what can be done but we have done some pretty sweet variants.
