I have been having a raging mental debate lately and I can't take it anymore. You guys decide for me, please. Put me out of my misery. What color should I dye the G10 on my digicam satin finish PM2?

In 1 week I will go with whatever the poll has decided. To be followed by pics, because POIDH.

I voted red after seeing that red digicam picture.

I would try anything but black first, though. You can always dye it black after, but you can't dye it one of the others after it is black.

I vote blue after seeing that red digicam picture, you should try a blue digicam.

That is a good point. But if I was going to do black I wasn't going to leave it in super long because I wanted to retain the digicam pattern but create a color set of more black/dark gray/light gray. It's still a good point though.

That red is looking pretty sweet...we'll see how the poll looks in a few more days and then it's off to buy dye. Thanks for the input so far everyone!

I didn't vote because I couldn't decide. The red that someone already posted looks very interesting. It is unique and Spyderco so far to my knowledge hasn't produced anything with red G10. I would personally prefer blue but I wonder how well it would work over the digicam. If I was choosing between red and blue not having seen the red already I would choose blue, but having seen the red it does look pretty good. I guess it depends on how bright you want the knife to be.

Picking a color should be fairly simple, no need for a raging mental debate. Much more important things to worry about in life. Select the color you like the best and go with it. Flip a coin if you need to. Cheers.

Trust me, this is far from the top of my list as far as worries in life (I've got a 2 year old daughter, a girlfriend, a house payment, 4 things at a time breaking down in my house, and a car in the shop). Which is probably why I couldn't bear down on this decision and am just going to leave this up to the forum :)

Buying the dye tomorrow probably, and it looks like it's going to be red!!

P.S. Can anyone tell me if I will need to re-lube the pivot when I reassemble or is what's on there already good enough to throw everything back together and resume use?
