Can any MoraKniv experts tell me
What is the difference between the

Morakniv Bushcraft Carbon Fixed Blade Knife with Carbon Steel Blade, Black, 0.125/4.3-Inch
(this is 18$)

And the

Morakniv Bushcraft Carbon Steel Survival Knife with Fire Starter and Sheath, Black
(this is 70$)

Besides the obvious which is the sheath with fire steel and sharpener .

Side by side the stats look identical they're both carbon steel they're both an 1/8th inch thick, 4.3" blade , both 9.1" overall , both 5.7oz ,
I would very much appreciate any input because if the only difference is the sheath I'll be stocking up on $18 ones

I believe the main difference is a thicker bar steel being used. But I tend think a lot of the Mora knives kind of blend together in my mind regardless of price.

Negative brother , they are both 1/8" thick carbon steel

I think the two you're looking at the only difference is one comes with a firestarter and a diamond sharpener the other is just knife and sheath.

The Mora Firestarter comes with firestarter built ito the handle & a good stainless blade, aroud $30.00

I own many moras and have used all of them very hard. IMO the best overall for normal camp use and batoning is the companion heavy. I would say to change the grind to a convex as I have checked out two of the scandi's.
The kansbol is also great for a lighter duty knife... but for the money I would just take a normal companion over it.

The bushcraft black I havent owned, think it has a longer blade and same carbon steel the companions come in. Sheath on them all kinda stinks but at least the knives $20 instead of $70 so you can life with the sheath.
