I tried doing a search for some information but found it inoperative.

Were the Ergo Busses offered in any other configurations other that black crinkle? I ask because all other Busses are offered in other patterns. I know that Bryan has a white BME and that their are the Terror Monkeys. I was wondering if their was ever a BME made with jungle camo. Thanks for the help.

I know there are the ZT's with the satin finish. As for various coatings, I would think they would be far and few between. Just my guess.

They were offered in the Desert Tan finish right before they were discontinued. I've never seen any camo ones except a few that were offered through the extravaganza's. There are a lot of things out there that we don't know about, so it is possible that some jungle camo's exist and we just haven't seen them.

Black was the only color offered to the public for many years, that doesn't mean that other colors didn't exist though.

:D:D

The E-Models were released just before the crinkle Coat started being used.

The first batch of E-Models were flat black.

There is some overlap in the timings for the coatings, for instance the last batch of straight steel Hearts was Crinklel coated with diag grooves on the micarta.

Early Tube type handle MeanStreets were flat black.
The last Mean Streets were Crinkle

The Basics were, some flat black,,,some Crinkle

I remember seeing the full set of flat black ergo protos in the extravaganza.

Papathud summed it up really well. The first Bm-e I bought from Andy Prisco was a black smooth coat. Really it was quite a durable finish, but the crinkle is more durable. Of the 10 odd models I've owned, I find the Bm-e the most useful. A very excellent blade. The Basic 9 is also very good. The Basic 9 was my first Busse ever when they first came out(I was 15 at the time) I scraped the smooth black coating off to find a very smooth satin blade finish underneath. It looked very nice without the finish too. Wish I would have never sold it :grumpy:

You bought your first Busse when you were 15? So did I! I bough an EU-17 Magnum a couple of months ago! That is great!
