I had this also posted in the wilderness forum, but want to give it a own thread in the general forum.

I'm searching for two eriksson knives from their "outdoor" range.
Does anyone know where to find them?

thank you.

I don't but I'll ttt this for you.

The lower one looks just like a "Jonsared" knife that my nephew was given by a chainsaw dealer last year. I searched and couldn't find any information, but think thats it.

yeah it means The hunter. "huntingknife with blade made of swedish stainless steel (probably 12c27) gripshaped/palmshaped plastic handle with brass bolters, sheat made of black leather"

thanks shann

On Eriksson's new site it's called a "Jägaren" (I assume it means something like hunter)

Their new site: http://www.moraofsweden.com

Hopefully it doesn't mean drink jagermeister before using!

Thanks for the post too, I'd given up on figuring out where that knife came from. I didn't see any price or availability for it on the website, but could probably email them about that too.

I dont think they sell individual knives, but if you want 100 or 1000 or so maybe they can sell them. estimated price maybe 40€ +-10

I was guessing that they might know who their retailers were and could let you know that. Maybe not.

Yes, I know

That’s the most logical way to proceed.
I shall mail them, but I found it interesting these knives aren't commonly found.
Their mora 2000 or mushroom knife can be found everywhere.

last reanimation attempt ;)

Shann do you have any sizes of the knife/handle ?
Must say I do like the brass.

I don't have the knife, only handled it once. As I recall the handle was molded plastic with finger grooves. Fit my somewhat larger than normal hand quite well. I'd hate to give you dimensions and be wrong, but it was quite a lot bigger than my normal hunting knife (Schrade Sharpfinger) but smaller than a standard Ka-Bar USMC.

If I get up to my nephews in the next week or so, I will measure it up and try to take a couple of pictures (don't hold breath on pictures, I have almost given up figuring that out).

I like that model 1701 - the lower one. Let me know if you find someone selling them.

i found a place selling that knife now (1710) www.jula.se seach for "jaktkniv" and there it is. approx 35€. product number 761030. you can contact them by sending an email to info@jula.se or phone them at +46511-34 20 00

enjoy

Thank you very much for the offer.
I really appreciate it.

Actually I didn't found the 1701 but one which was exactly the same but with a blade which was more suited to clean fish.

I was primarily interested in that model for the handle shape and I must say it's very comfortable
