Posted this first on Busse Combat forum, since most Spyderco collectors use other types of knives I'll repost it here, what I'd like is more of a cutter/slicer than ultra indestructible, however I would like for it to be a very durable tough knife btw I've never owned or examined a Spyderco fixed blade despite having a large collection of folders how do Spyderco fixed blades compare to the ones/brands below? Thanks in advance for any advice:

I own/collect use many brands of knives from many brands, mostly Spyderco and W.R. Case (strange combo I know). Have been considering a quality fixed blade but am mostly into folders don't know much about high-end fixed blades. What I want would be between 4.5 to no more than 7 inches in blade length, no serrations. My question is what knives of that size would be best as a tough utility knife used mostly for cutting, no super heavy duty work intended but then again you never know . I'm interested in Busse, Swamprat, Strider, Chris Reeve, and the Benchmade Nimravus looks really good. Also, just how "tough" are knives in this size from the above mentioned makers, please keep in mind that most expensive/toughest fixed blade with which I have experience is a 5 in small Ka-Bar. Any help or insight would be appreciated

I'm thinking about getting a Busse Leaner/Meaner Street, anyone have any info on these vs. the Spyderco Temperance fixed blade. Also would like to know if anyone has compared new Swamp Rat Trap to Spyderco Military?
