Help with High Carbon L6 steel

I found a nessmuk at an affordable price made from High Carbon L6 steel, does anyone know if this steel is able to endure stress?

Depends what you mean by "stress".

L6 is, in fact, a tough steel. (Excellent flexibility and shock absorption characteristics.)
Heat treat as always is important.

There are Katana swords made of L6, if that info is helpful to you at all.

Not all that high a carbon level compared to say an O-1.It is a very tough steel and excellent for impact use such as kukri or other choppers.
