I'd like to refer to several pictures in a posting here on the forum as I discuss them. I'm afraid that all the images will be too clumbsy for downloading and viewing. What I'd like to do is put a clickable link in my text (or maybe a thumbnail) so that when clicked it would open a another screen of your browser so you can see the image in one browser and my posted text in the other.
That way you click on only what you want to see without having to click back to get back to the text message. I've seen this on web sites and would like to learn it. I'm not sure what this is called but I can't find the commands in my "idiots guide to HTML"

any help out there?

Thanks in advance,

-Rob

Rob, just cut and paste the pic's url to your post and it will show up as a hyperlink.

I figured it out! MaxtheKnife's posting on the ugliest forged blade does exactly what I wanted. I looked at his code and saw the "TARGET=_blank" attribute on his [a href="..." Target=_blank] tag. Then looked it up in my "idiots guide" and I'm all set.

Thank you L6Steel.

By the way, good to hear about the rollers!
