Help with ID on Custom Knife

Hi, I just acquired some knives and there is one that has me stumped on identification. It has a logo that looks like an eagle or a griffin with a crown. The grips are ivory and it is has really beautifully scrimshaw work. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!

I just noticed that it looks like there is a "KL" or "HL" incorporated into the logo. There are also artist initials "KLC" engraved beneath the scrimshaw work.
