I bought this Battle Mistress in the knife exchange awhile back. Help me ID exactly what it is. Straight handle? Bead Blasted?

Agreed. Ashbm. Imagining around 0.31” thick. Infi.
 
I thinks it’s the black paper micarta. I can’t tell if it’s nuked

Very nice, congrats. Every man needs a Mistress, and every Mistress needs to be put to work.

In Busse lingo the finish is DCBB, Double Cut Bead Blast. They apparently use two media, or two grits(?), to effect that finish.
 
That's a sweet one. It reminds me of my black paper ashbm that I stripped and ground the secondary bevel clean off of.

It was super slicey. Cut myself a few times on it too.

I miss black paper micarta.
