I'm not sure if this is permitted but I'd like to know what this axe is.
If not allowed please delete or I will if a brother calls me out.
Thank you.

Looks like a Russian topor pattern to me.
Thanks Hickory. I liked the shape of the head and thought I might try to get one but no way. I'm not looking for a custom. I have a GB small forest and not digging the need for two hands. Want more of a one hander.

This pattern and similar patterns can be had on Ebay, but of course you'd be buying it from someone in Russia or other country in that region.

Hickory n steel is absolutely right.
To expand on it a bit: "topor" simply means "axe" in Russian.
This pattern is called(in USSR's Standards)a "Б"(B in English)-type,it could be Б2,or -1 to -4,depending on weight.
What makes it that is the straight cutting edge, the curved or radiused ones are "A" series.

This is a thin-bladed joiner's axe,it's for construction/cabin-building/cabinet-making and related woodwork.

It has Nothing whatever in common with axes you mention,GB,CT and all that.
This is a paring tool, not a chopping one.
And the quality will different Wildly.
I think you've already talked yourself out of it-that's wise. You don't want it.

Many thanks brother. I guess I just wanted a camp/pack axe and I liked the shape of it.
