Hey guys,

I am looking for a certain tool but I do not know what it is called or where I can find one. It's a groover that will allow me to make a groove down the center of a pouch style sheath so that I can fold the leather without any problems. To understand what I'm talking about, go to this video:

At the 23:00 mark it shows him using the tool I'd like. do you know what this is called and where I can find one? If you do please let me know. Thanks!

I have the craft tool adjustable from Tandy. Other than needing a good stropping, it's a good tool.

I just recently tried it to gouge the hole pattern on the back of my sheaths in lew of using the groover (like on the front) and have found that it works better. This is because I use a drill press and needle to punch my holes and that leaves a little bit of puckering on the back. The groover cuts too small a channel to totally remove this. I always went back to my very first sheath and thought about why the stitching looks so much better. Then I realized that I didn't have a groover back then. I had very carefully used the gouge for the job.

$30 isn't unreasonable for my uses. Especially now that I'm doing more folder sheaths that have a very fitted belt loop.
