  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I picked up two single bit axes today. One's a Michigan pattern, the other a Dayton. 3-1/2 lb heads as near as I can tell. No markings on the heads. The handles are marked VB Strikers Construction Tools who I can't find anything about.
They appear almost new, just a little surface rust. 36" handles in good shape.
Are these U.S. made? Chinesium? Something else? They look like serviceable users. I probably would have passed on them but for $10 for the pair they followed me home.

Thanks for the replies, VB, Vaughn and Bushnell, I should have made the connection. I also picked up a couple of double bits at the same yard sale. A Vaughan forest service and a True Temper Flint Edge Kelly Works. Four axes for $20, I can't complain.
