I've had this unussual lock back knife for a while now and I'm quite baffled as i cannot find any info on it at all:confused: .The knife is an odd lockback design made by hoffritz in italy,on the front of the blade it has a picture of boat and sailor? with san salvador etched into it (quite deeply etched i may add) and patent stamped into the tang of the blade, the reverse side has Hoffritz stainless Italy lightly etched into it.The bolster also doubles as the release for the locking mechanism by pushing it inward similar to a italian stilletto automatic. The wood scales are olive wood,I think??? I've never used the knife and it still has the factory edge (hasen't even cut paper so it's factory mint condition). When i purchased the knife,I bought it because i've never come accross another like it before or since then (or any information on it).Just hoping i can get any info on when it was made, what it's worth (for curriousities sake) etc.I'd greatly appreciate anything that anyone knows on this knife
Thanks in advance btw
