Hello guys i recently bought the proffesional edition of the lansky guided system, and i have one problem!
When i started sharpening and reprofiling to the certen degree of the lansky i felt how it was taking long for me to reach the apex of the blade on the first side with the knife with120grit, but when i reached the apex and felt the even burr on the whole edge and turned it to sharpen the other side it took like no time to get burr again on the first side.
So i tought that i was messing the apex like moving it out of the center is that right(messing the knife) of is it just how it works because in my head it doesnt make sence.
Simpler: 1st sharpen/repfrofiling takes 10minutes on the 1st side after getting burr, 2mins on the other to get burr on the 1st?
Tell me what i do wrong guys i will appreciate it! Thanks in advance.

Different times for different steels.
S30V vs S90V

Stones cut slower than Diamonds.

Assuming I understand you correctly, you’re not doing anything wrong really. Once you have the burr formed on one side it comes up very fast on the other because the formed burr just starts to flop back and forth when you change sides.

My advice is to spend just as much time on the second side as you did on the first. Otherwise your edge bevels will be very different on each side. Keep at it!
