I have an older Magcharger flashlight. The beam was dim even with a full charge. I replaced the battery pack and bulb. Now it doesn't work at all. Anything else that may have gone wrong? Is the switch replaceable? I'm at a loss at this point.

Everything is replacable if you feel like taking it apart. Basically it starts at the rear and and everything forward of that unscrews in segments.

But don't bother with that, Mag has a lifetime warranty. They should fix it for free, or close to it.

Thanks for the info. I called Mag Industries and they told me that many of the secondary market batteries are out of spec. They said that I could send them the old battery and they would send me a new one for $18. Of course, I trashed the old battery (safely, of course). Good folks to deal with. I'll return the new battery for a replacement.

First do a quick visual inspection of all electrical contact points, tailcap, bulb holder assembly, switch if you can. If there are any obvious and easily fixed problems then take care of those, if that doesnt' work then I'd send it off to mag. If you have a digital multimeter you can also do a quick check for electrical continuity, resistance, and voltage to make sure they're within spec. Also, if you have a multimeter definately check the charger, if it's bad then that nothing else you do is going to fix it.

That battery thing sounds like a long shot. They're just five 1.2v NiCD cells. Unless one of them was dead from the factory it should work fine.
