Help With Manufacturer Date/Value

I Have A Camillus Folding Knife(Single Blade)With The Name Silver Sword On One Side. The Other Side Of The Blade Has Camillus /The # 47/USA On It.The Handle Is Medal With A Rope Design And A Steer's Head On One Side.The Sheath Matches With #47 On It.This Knife Is In Mint Condition,It's Not Been Carried. Any Information Would Be Greatly Appreciated. This Is My First Post. Thanks.

The model #47 was known as the "Longhorn" knife. The handle was designed by Steve Powers and was cast from zinc.This knife was made during the 1980's and if my memory is correct only one production run was made.

This knife came with a leather sheath that matched the knife.
