Hi! I was told that I shouldn’t post my dad’s knifes on here...I thought it was the best place. How do I make sure I’m not billed again for a membership?

it’s funny that it took me a months to figure out how to even post anything.

I sort of feel like a waste but any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

I don’t believe there is an auto-renew for memberships. Once your paid period runs out it’s done, and you would have to re-up if you wanted.

Sorry to hear you weren’t able to use or enjoy the site.

If you need help or have any other questions feel free to ask.

Aloha!

I see that you had posted a few for sale, and did sell one. Curious who said you shouldn't sell here?

You won't be double billed.
When your year is up they will email you asking if you want to renew.
Craigslist and Facebook suck for selling specialty knives. Ebay is ok. Blade Forums attracts knife people and if you provide a pic or two and a clear description you will do just fine.
Check shipping costs as USPS can be pretty high and UPS is stupid high if you don't have an account with them.

I'd be interested in the details of that conversation. Where were you posting, who instructed you not to and why, that sort of thing.

Gold members are able to sell their personal knives in the exchange forum.
Posting pictures can be a bit of a bother. Personally, I upload mine to a hosting service such as Imgur. Then I post them using a link.

And, as others have said, BF does not have automatic paid membership renewal. At the end of your gold membership, you will receive an email reminder that your gold membership is about to expire.
♦ If you wish to renew, you must access the site and manually renew it yourself.
♦ If you don't wish to renew, then you need do nothing and your membership will revert to that of a registered member at the end of the paid membership.

Mom with spending money...then I end up getting my feelings hurt and ticked. It was a waste for me but I love how many people loves knifes as much as my dad did...that is pretty cool.

There was no prior conversation...just that it was a bad idea.
