It's somewhat hard to tell from the pics, but they look small enough that a little sharpening will take them right out. No biggie at all really.

What kind of sharpener would be best ? I have a Gatco and a sharpmaker....I have ran my blade on the sharpmaker quite a bit and there still there....should i use a light file to get them out or just keep working with the sharpmaker ?

First:

Is the deformation "chips" in the blade, or "bends"? In other words, is the metal missing or has it been bent out of line with the edge?

You are obviously in a much better place if the metal has merely been dinged, or bent out of place. You can use a steel to re-align the metal, and then get it sharp again using the sharpening system of your choosing.

If you are actually missing metal (it has chipped, or it has pressed up into the blade) then you're in a worse place. You can sharpen it out, but you will loose a lot of valuable INFI. Probably if it were me I would leave them there and sharpen up the entire edge. Over time and continued sharpenings they will come out...unless you keep putting more chips in there.

It looks like chips....Hell all I chopped was some branches....Un-less there was a nail or a rock there ???? I would have never thought it would have done that to the edge....

I would also try 'stropping' the dinged areas with one of the Sharpmaker ceramic rods.

It happened to mine when cutting down palm trees. No sweat they should come out with a little work. Those little nicks will not stop the chopper . That knife is made to be a chopper not a slicer . Go try it on some hardwoods and see how it does . Normal stuff when you use your knife .
