Help with my (maybe) S30V handles.

I stripped my Taranti First Responder for cleaning and oiling and found rust-like looking spots around the screw holes. They're on the "outside" of the handle, it's covered by a G10 plastic grip. The blade is made of S30V steel, but i've got on idea what the handle is made of. Any recommendations ?

Here's a video of my issue.

Metal polish, Scotch-Brite pad, fine sandpaper, maybe even a pencil eraser.

I'd just sand it with wet/dry sandpaper, maybe in conjunction with mineral oil or WD-40. The bead-blast finish is likely contributing to the problem (the finish traps & holds moisture and other stuff that makes rust). The finer the finish is made by sanding/polishing, the less it'll tend to trap that stuff. Bead-blast finishes are the worst, for that sort of issue.
