I made some new acquisitions this week - I need ID help on two of them:
Schrade 156OT - mint
Schrade 147 - good condition
Schrade H-15? - very good condition
Schrade 152OT - EUC
Schrade PH2 (smooth black delrin handle) - MIB (its marked USA - hope I didn't get skunked)
Schrade - 15OT - good to very good condition
Schrade 162UH - almost mint - a few scratches but never sharpened - no sheath
Schrade - SC509 (plain white simulated bone Little Finger) - mint
Imperial Kit Carson fixed blade (similar blade shape as 148?) - MIB
Imperial real oddball fixed blade hunter
German stag handled hunter (seller didn't tell me the darn handle was loose enough to rotate on the tang - waiting for a return e-mail before I start the negative feedback and formal complaint process)
I need some help with ID on two of these knives:
The one I think is an H-15 looks like a H-15 (similar blade, leather handle, red spacers at top and bottom of handle). The blade reads "Schrade-Walden" and below that "N.Y. USA"; no "H-15" on third line like I have seen on other H-15's. Is this an H-15? (eBay item #130053072414 - I can e-mail e-Bay pictures or save and upload them if someone will give me pointers.)
The other knife is a real oddball Imperial fixed blade but I really like it. It has a blade almost identical to a 147. The blade metal has small rivlets all over the blade like you used to see on old carbon steel butcher knives. Of course, these are not visible where the blade has been hollow ground. The blade has a faux edge on the top of the blade near the point; but, only on one side. This looks to be from the factory, not a Sunday project on the bench grinder; but, I can't figure out why it is only on one side. The blade reads "Imperial" and below that "Providence R.I.". The real interesting thing is the handle. It is a 13/16 thick block of what looks like smooth black delrin. I have never seen a Schrade or Imperial with this handle. On closer examination, it is two pieces; but, you really have to look for the seam. I probably paid too much for this knife given that it is an Imperial; but, I liked it when I saw it and I like it even better when I hold it. Heck, I might even start carrying it. Does anyone know what model this knife is? (eBay item #170055541797 - I can e-mail e-Bay pictures or save and upload them if someone will give me pointers.)
