Help with new knife purchase

okay guys I’m selling some knives to free up some funds but of course know I will end up buying another knife at some point in the near future. I’m in between the Spyderco Police 4 and the Kizer Sheepdog. Admittedly the sheepdog is visually appealing but I think the police would be more useful. Anyway between the two what would be your pick.

I own both blades.

the kizer sheepdog is a great knife that is a fixture in my edc rotation. i like carrying it but it's not super edc friendly, but i still like it

The Spyderco police is a total Workhoarse, i've been carrying this knife on my workpants for the last 8 Years AND I LOVE IT

These are two very different knives. Mind you if I ask, why are you thinking about these two particular knives?
EDIT:
If you really like the Sheepdog, then go for it. But its nothing for me, bit too fancy, so Police 4 for me.
 
I lit the kizer, IMO the design is fun.
However if you want a knife that will be a user I think than you may get tired about the sheepdog after not a long time

If you are looking for a user and don’t mind a long blade, go for the police 4

And that's pretty much what it boils down to.
Do you need a knife often, or just seldom?
I know if I'm maybe having a quiet day in the office, I'll go for a looker. If I'm actually working, I'll take something that can be useful.

With that said, Police.
