help with newest purchase

I am new to Busse but jumped in with both feet and have amassed a pretty large collection of Infi in the last 4 or 5 months. I am on this forum daily reading and chasing knives. The post lady just dropped this one off and I was hoping you guys could give me a little more info on it. Its is obviously and Ash 1, it is about .22 thick. The closest thing I can find to that would be the Ash 1 LE, but not having any numbering like my other LE's I assume it is something different. The previous owner stated that he believes it is 1 of 10 made and I am doubting it. He is a great guy and extremely honest, I just figured he was misinformed when he purchased it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe an old hog put in a custom order with the shop for apx 10 as you stated. Virtually an LE just a custom request though. Looks like yours may have handshaped scales instead of machined like LE"s. Very tasty.
 
Congrats on your 1 of 10.
That knife and the 9 others were commissioned by me and 3 other forums members.
Hand shaped linen tigerhide handles and the custom blade lazer engraving.
I still have one and lost track of where the rest went.

Thanks again, I am stoked to have gotten my hands on this one. The Ash series never really appealed to me and this is my first one, after holding this one on it I know it won't be my last.
 
Sweet. That is a great thickness for that k ife. Satin, and hand shaped tiger hide micarta are a great combo!
 
wow! This might be one of my Favorite Ash 1's I've seen!
