I currently have the following knives

Folding
SOG Flash II
CRKT M16-14DSFG
Gerber Gator
Something or another S&W knife
A few cheap run of the mill junk gas station knives

Fixed blade
M7 Bayonet
Gerber Profile
A couple of old skinning knives I've used for years
A few other various cheapo knives and a Dive knife

I want:
Becker BK9
Ka-Bar full sized fighting utility knife (7 inch)
Ka-Bar Pestilence Chopper
CRKT Kommer Bear Claw plain edge if I can find one
Spyderco Endura Plain edge
Cold Steel Recon Clip point 1 plain edge

If you had the knives that I already had which of the "I want" section would you buy next? I'm really leaning to the fixed blades. I am a big fan of fixed bladed knives. I want all of them but just don't have the money right now.

Only suggesting from your list and since you mentioned that you want a fixed blade, I'd pick the BK-9.

Same here. I personally have no interest in any of the other knives you listed.

Exactly, except for if you were to get a folder, the Endura is a truly outstanding knife. I've had one in my EDC rotation for what feels like for ever. Deep down I'd say it's my favorite. I ordered a Military though which may supersede it... we shall see.

BK9 would be my choice of the knives on your list. It's on my buy list also. Heck of an awesome knife. I just got to try one out on a passaround.

If he led with the military that would be my choice. ;)

BK9 it is! O also any suggestions for a 4 inch fixed blade slicer type as mentioned?

Thanks.

The BK9 is a brutish, first class, bomb-proof chopper/basher. Enjoy!

As far as the 4 incher....how much do you want to spend?

On the cheap I'd say a mora. On the mid level I'd say look at farmer. On the expensive I'd look at gossman. The best performing out of the 3 is the farmer but the fit and finish goes to gossman and his knives are no slouch either.
