Just recently I found an Old Timer stockman in a box in my closet while looking for something. It used to belong to my dad and was given to me by my sisters when we made the decision to move him to a nursing home a couple years ago (he has dementia and needed full time care).
I suspect it is a 80T as it measure a hair below 4" closed but the clip tang only says "MM8" with "U.S.A." under that. It has brass liners and pins with brown sawcut type delrin handles. The clip, spey and sheepfoot are definitely carbon as all the exposed sections outside the handle have fine rust as well as the back springs. Other than the rust, it seems to be in good condition (my dad always took good care of the little he had). I can only say the knife is anywhere between 25 to 30 years old or probably older.
I'll post photos once I am done cleaning it.
After I finish cleaning this knife up, I will move on to Mora type knife that used to belong to my grandpa that I found in a tackle box I inherited.
Thanks!
