I like a larger blade. Have a Skirmish, CS Voyager 5", and a Spyderco Resilience. It is time for something new. At the very least, a 4" blade.

Carried the Voyager for years!

The Skirmish for about 9 months. Got heavy.

The Resilience for a couple months.

Want a knife that will hold an edge, is light weight and under $150.00.

I will use the knife to cut paper, cardboard, rope, and to use in the kitchen once in a while.

What do you advise to get?

I think the Spyderco Millitary in S30V will fit the bill. I have one & love it, it's a 4" blade, great slicer, great edge retention, light weight. There's lot's of reviews on youtube if you want to do more research.

There is only one that comes to mind; the ZT0200. If you like big, you'll love the 0200!

I second the Spyderco Military.

You pretty much described one in your list of requirements.

Does benchmade 710 sound decent? good steel, long blade, slim, light, and solid. other than that, i am thinking a millie.

How about a CS Spartan? With your budget, you could get one for each hand and still have beer money left over.

Consider the Spyderco Police too, 4" long and thin blade, great slicer, very easy to carry. I wouldn't want to split wood with it but for cardboard, cake, apples and rope I love mine.

I have one I beat the hell out of all the time still functions as new. Blade is of center but idc for a user knife.

Thank you. I have a 710 combo edge. Don`t like it anymore. The ZT0200 is heavier than my Skirmish. I will look into the Military.
