After a couple of weeks of owning a Protech Malibu, I can confidently say that I think is just about perfect. The one notable thing is how slippery it is. I have the blue Tanto blade version. Is the black version more grippy? Can anyone suggest some one who could possibly texture and re-anodize the frame. This is definitely a keeper and I wouldn’t mind in the least spending some money on it, but haven’t had any luck finding anyone who does such work.

Black version is also kinda slick. I love mine but am considering the titanium just for the milling. I asked protech if they are considering doing any sort of texturing and got a "we are considering many things" type answer haha. I haven't held the blue but the black is pretty damn smooth.
