I recently picked up a Robeson #622026 that I was told by the seller has bone scales. I thought they were too, but after looking at it closer, I'm now wondering if if they may in fact be delrin.
The tang stamp puts it in the time frame when Robeson used red bone for this knife, (1948- 1960) but according to what I read, they used delrin when the bone was dropped.
I've taken pics, but not sure how to post them here. Could someone post them for me (I'll email them to you) so I can get some opinions on what I have. Thanks.

Email comin' at ya.

Got it Rick. I'll send them now. Thanks.

Rick,
I'm having trouble & haven't been able to send them. They remain in my Outbox & I get an unknown error message when I try to send them.
Hopefully I'll get this resolved soon & send then to you. Thanks again.

Just as a general reminder, it is against the Terms Of Service to post images on behalf of another member unless it is hosted offsite via a third party service.
In other words, you cannot use your bladeforums account to host these images. Thanks for your cooperation.

Try to send a single close-up image to me at charlesnoyes@att.net and I'll answer your question.

Knives stamped as you describe date from about 1948 to 1965. Both genuine bone and jigged Delrin were used in that time frame.

Sorry about that.

I'll give it a try, but I had technical issues trying to send them to railsplitter & I don't know what the problem is. I'll send them on if/when I get it straightened out. Thanks.

It's easy to upload pictures to a third party service.

I like Imageshack.

Go to http://imageshack.us/

Click "Browse..." and navigate to your picture. If the pictures are large, there is the option to resize them under "Upload options / Resizing >>" . Then click "Upload Now".

It should bring you to a screen with a bunch of urls on the left. See the one next to where it says "Forum code"? Copy and paste that url into your post, and that should do it.

Please take any further image hosting suggestions and "how-to's" to email or PM so we can stay on the topic of knives. Thank you.

I'm still having issues sending pics with my mail service (Windows Live Mail) so it's best to close this thread.
When I do get it resolved, I'll send pics to those that asked.
Thanks all for your input.
Mods, please lock the thread.
