Help with SOG knife ID/value?

I have a SOG knife that I purchased several years ago and it's pretty much just been sitting ever since then. I could use a few bucks, so I'd like to sell it, but I can't remember what it is exactly and I'm also not sure how much to ask for it.

Can anyone help me identify exactly what I have? I almost want to say it's a SEAL 2000...but I may be completely out in left field on that. The blade is marked SEKI-JAPAN.

Also, if it's OK to ask here in this forum, what would be a fair selling price? I bought it in like new condition, and I've not used it since I acquired it. The high spots on the blade are faintly polished from the sheath, but it's otherwise in excellent condition.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm not sure but perhaps you could do a completed item search on ebay to get an idea of the price? You would have to avoid the ones made in Taiwan because they aren't Seal 2000s (even though many are listed as them).

johnu2, thanks...I'll check out eBay.

Hammer27, is that what a brand new, current model goes for or used one like mine?

I bought a brand new, SOG SEAL 2000 for $90 in June. Granted it was one of the last ones made before they switched to the "elite" line. With that in mind its probably closer to 200 than 100 but its all about the buyer. Case in point, I bought a mint in box (papers, plastic, everything) SOG Midnight Tigershark for under $200. A used one with nothing but the sheath went for almost $300 recently.

First generation Seal 2000 with original sheath. I just picked up this same variant on e-bay for $85 plus shipping. There were many different sheath versions over the years but, this was the first one. Usually prices top out around $125 if they don't go into a bidding war.
