Help with specific topical searches...

I once read a thread or 2 about insurance. For collectors of knives, guns, etc... Insurance that will cover mailing and transporting valuables ... Since homeowners insurance does not do so in a lot of cases...

How do I search back for that info? I have not had success with my current attempts... Keywords? How do I narrow down so that there is not a vast number of possible?

Or for any search... I just gave this as a currant example...

When you go to Advance Search you have two options. Search Multiple Content Types and Search Single Content Types.

Go to Search Single Content Types. This will give you more options to use so you can narrow down your search.


For your search, use Search Single Content Types. Put "Insurance" in the keywords and then click Search Titles Only in the drop down box directly to the right. Below in the Additional Options section, click Knife Specific Discussion in the Search In Forums drop down box and the search.

This will yield a good amount of threads and a good place to start.
 
If Search doesn't find it, ask in Custom & Handmade. Both knifemakers and collectors have discussed it.
 
As an alternative, go to Google and type in:

site:www.bladeforums.com search terms

Obviously replace "search terms" with what you're looking for.

Typing in "site:www.bladeforums.com insurance" popped up several threads related to what you're looking for on the first page.
