Hello,
This is my first post on the forum.
I have a set of four knives that my husband and I bought in the UK some 35 years ago.
They were classed as antique then and were so expensive, we paid off weekly for them! They were around £70 which was a months wages in those days!
The set comprises of wooden handled knives with brassclips on. The sheaths are wooden with a brass holder that the clip on the knife locks into.
They are hand carved on the knife handle with matching carving on the wooden sheath.
They all have "India" stamped on the blade.
The biggest knife is about 15" including the sheaf and the smallest is about 8"
I have tried searching the internet for a description and value, but can find nothing similar.
So I thought it best to join a forum where members know about knives, so here I am!
I hope I have uploaded the pictures correctly.
I have more if these pictures don't help identify them.
I look forward to some feedback.
Kind regards,
FibbyUK
