hi everyone, new guy here. well ive been collecting knives for a while but not to seriously. anyway i was reading about the new izula color on here and i finally ordered mine. it wont be in the mail untill next week but my question is should i keep it as a collectors piece or actually use it? ive read on other sites and youtube videos that people dont want to scratch it or the coating isnt tough so they just want to keep it as a collectible. i bought it for edc but now im thinking i should just keep it on my nightstand considering its one of the first 250 of them. any opinion would be great, thanks everyone

IMO you should just use it, unless you're specifically keeping it pristine for the sake of your personal collection. It's not going to appreciate in value much if anything, and it's not going to be something that will make for a great heirloom.

I plan to use mine, but I'm not going to go out of my way to beat on it either.

I've been using mine for a couple of weeks, the coating is just as tough as all of the others esee uses. So go for it and use it.

My ESEE Junglas serial number is 22. Do you think I should keep it on the shelf because it has a lower serial number or beat the crap out of it?

Beat the h*ll out of 'em, that's what they were made for!

Flatliner, looks like you got the answer you were hoping for:) That knife was built to be used, give it hell.
