Help with Wicked Edge mystery screws

I just purchased a wicked edge pro gen 3 and on the base near where the arms bolt down theres two black plastic flathead screws.I cant seem to find what their purpose is.It would greatly appreciated.Thanks

If they are the screws I'm thinking of they lock everything down once you make an angle adjustment on the lever. I just finger tighten them after I am done adjusting for the sharpening angle.
