Well first off I'm new to the forums and I am in need of recommendations because I have used mostly 20 or 30 dollar knives and I am now in need of a new edc and I'm looking at around 100ish dollars to spend what would you guys recommend. I am leaning more towards a spyderco knife and while I like the endura I am not a an if fng handles.

At your price range, the G-10 versions of some of their designs are about all you're going to find.

Carbon Fiber Blur!!!!!!!

Welcome to BF Cmeister. I would browse the top 3 brands kershaw, spyderco, benchmade, and see if theres anything that catches your eye. Than ask us about a few specific models. Or to make it easier list you uses and preferances.
Example:
YOU:Im looking for a 3-4 inch manuel folder with a flipper that I will use for cutting up cardboard and rubber hose,
ME: I would recommend you get a kershaw junk yard dog 2 with composite blade.
There are always good deals to be had here at the exchange.

I just got a endura 2 with the stainless handles,i cant stop playing with this thing, that fully serrated blade i always wanted is in my hands, almost feel like a child again
Get a spydie, you wont regret it.

I would go with a Kershaw Blur. I just recieved my first one (from Kershawguy of course), and I absolutely love it! It kicked everything out of my pocket.

Check out some of Kershaw's offerings, the blur, knockout, piston, or 0200 blem for under $100

Id go with the Kershaw Blur with the Carbon Fiber inserts and a CMP-154 stone washed blade. It doesnt get much better than that. Or spend a little more than a $100 and get a ZT 0350

My price range is flexible I'm willing to go like 100-170ish but from the research I've been doing I'm really thinking about getting an endura 4 g10

you're going to pay a pretty penny (compared to orig. retail) for one

I'm aware of that my friend my only problem is that it's gonna be harder to find and at the moment I can't purchase things online so I have to rely on the stores in my state and I am lucky enough to have the spyderco outlet in my state so if you haven't guessed I live in Colorado and theirs some nice places to buy knives but I don't know which place might have a discontinued knife

Parmilitary 2, Gayle Bradley, Military in my order of preference at that price point for Spyderco.

JYD2 CB, ZT550, Kershaw Blur for ZT/Kershaw.

BM Griptilian CPM-M4

Hogue EX01

Kershaw knives have some really amazing knives for the price they are offered and you can get them at any out doors doors store (dicks cabelas bass pro acadey) Wally world
But if you are able to get them from online I would recommend kershawguy(.)com best of luck!

kershaw skyline at 50$, hard to beat imo
or a spyderco manix translucent blue at 75$
or 888professional S.O.L. at 50$
kershaw cry at 30$
ontario rat 1 folder at 30
or a spyderco tenacious at 40
you can buy multiple of those
and my favorite : the spyderco sage 1

If you're going to be limited to Spyderco because it has to come from a B&M, you can check out the Police & Rookie G10 models. They're still current production AFAIK and they'll be similar to the Endura / Delica series, although a bit slimmer. Some other good choices in Spyderco would be the Gayle Bradley and either CF or Ti Sages. The Native 5 is also an outstanding folder, but it may be smaller than you want if the Endura is more your preferred size.

REI, Cabelas, Bass Pro, Kershaw, and probably Benchmade all have local B&M dealers in CO so you can go handle anthing that's been recommended so far. Just be aware that most of these will be MSRP dealers.
