The second job idea has some merit, or you could just borrow the money and go into debt. What about those odd end items you've got stashed away at home that could be sold on eBay? If you truly want the MOAB, you'll do what it takes to acquire one. Then, after you finally get the knife, you'll find other pieces beckoning in the hazy distance. We are all in the extravagant hunt, the process that clearly defines us as creatures that can never really be truly satisfied.

Personally Bro, save any extra cash you can out of each paycheck, even if its only $20. It adds up fairly quick, I am too impatient for this method although I have used it, so I just sell my soul to my work and put in 50-60 hours a week.
