HI, i realy dodnt know where i should direct this problem,but this it is:I would like to bid on some items in the blade auction,but i cant register without putting a credit card # in.I dont own a credit card& dont have a checking accnt) because i dont believe in them!I pay in cash or send money orders.I tried to send my problem to the complaint section,but they just send back a generic reply from a computor saying that any questions i have can be answered by clicking on links.I cant contackt them directly because you have to be registered. CATCH 22 sindrome for me ! Help tchunt_2000@yahoo.com

One reason for credit card registration, I imagine, is to help keep minors and habitual deadbeat bidders off the site. I believe all the major auction sites now require a credit card for registration. Even Yahoo went to requiring a credit card from bidders.

I believe our friend has no checking account, which would mean that he can't get a debit card, right? Maybe they'll do a ebit card off a savings account...but not at my bank.

You could try emailing the sellers directly about it. If the item doesn't sell you could try and buy it outright.

I'd say just email the sellers directly. You can buy most of the production pieces from them w/o going through the auction. The less common knives, that they won't have many of will be a different story though. Go to PVKAT's website, it's run by the same guy (Josh) who runs bladeauction. You can get contact info from the PVKAT site and contact him that way, he might be willing/able to help you out.
