My EDC seems to require a bit more lubrication than most of my other knives. Just a few days ago, when I was cycling it, it got fairly stiff, and didn't sound too wonderful in there. Gave it a couple drops of TufGlide, and everything was great again.
When I got my EDC, it was fairly stiff, so I lubed it for 2-3 consecutive days with the TufGlide. It had been cycled quite a bit since then, but not unduly, compared to others. Just needs more lube, I think.
It is kind of a killer paying $7-8 for 1/2 oz of the TufGlide, but it makes buying the 8 oz bottle for $16 seem so cheap in comparison. I am fairly liberal in my use of the TufGlide with the wire applicator. I've had it for at least 3 months now, and have used about 1/4 of the half ounce. At this rate, I should be truly old before I use up all my TufGlide. However, refreshing my two TufCLoths may use it up a bit faster than I've been doing.
