what kind of blade does Egyptian (good guy) have in the Mummy returns? I really like the design.

Most Yataghans aren't curved as much as the ones in the movie. I have been searching for a Yataghan for some time but have yet to find a nice one in my price range.

thanks for the help, I think It has other names as well, I am trying to find one with the curves that is functional (even though it will probably end up a display piece) my wife said I could buy one. WWWOOOOOOOHHHOOOOOO!

Himalayan Imports makes a sword that is very similar to a yataghan. It is called a Kumar Kobra, I do not own one but I have purchased some khukuris from HI and they are the best in customer service. I think you can get a Kumar Kobra in a 30" length, this would be similar to a yataghan. I do not know of anyone besides custom makers that are making anything similar to a yataghan, perhaps someone else can shed some light :)

If you want to pay the price, you might wish to contact the Museum Store at SwordForum.com. They are the American contact point for Armart, a Czech swordmaker of some considerable reputation, but they charge accordingly. Their blades are, of course, all hand-forged and are truly works of art, and they will undertake custom commissions.
