Is there a difference between Buck stainless steel and Case stainless steel?
I used a Worksharp Field sharpener (I believe that's what they had on display at the knife sharpening counter downstairs) while at the store recently, and sharpened my Buck 501 on it. It sharpened that knife very well. I liked it so much that I bought one at Bass Pro when I got back home in Memphis.
I tried touching up the spey blade on my Case Stockman (in Tru sharp stainless steel), and it is not sharpening up as expected. It's frustrating me, and this sharpener is about to get thrown out the window.
Any tips or ideas?
