Hello people of this forum. Just joined and had a question. So I bought my first set of knives from a company called forged blade. Being very excited for a new set I wanted good knives I heard good things so i bought a set recieved and when they arrived i was over the moon but then when i inspected them one had a crack I emailed the company and they sent me a new one, i kept the only one but then another issue came I was using the cleaver and noticed the blade was kind of rolled up and now I'm wondering how I should fix this? I did get a replacement but i'd love to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you possibly post a few pics of the rolled up cleaver blade and/or cracked blade?

If you bought them from Forged Blade in the Vancouver area, you should consider packing them up and sending them back. Most of what I see on their website are cheap Chinese knives that are vastly overpriced. What they are selling for $80 you can get for $10-20 on Amazon.....

If you want a budget set of knives that are decent, look at the KAI Konami line, mine have served my wife very well 😁

Yeah sure, i tried using a knife sharpening rod for the roll to maybe grind it off (idk much abt this stuff 😭) and it did literally nothing. These knives are supposedly damascus steal (will post pictures in the morning as its nearly 1 am rn)

Being damascus doesn't mean it's good. If they were on the cheaper end it is just a sales tactic to mark up horrible steel to get folks who think the word damascus means anything (sorry). (For the knowledge, even if it is real damascus, there are better non-damascus steels. Don't buy any more knives with the idea being damascus steel means it's good.) Damascus is sort of like the racing stripe of the car world~people may think it means it's a fast car because some fast cars have them, but there are faster cars, and you can put a stripe on any old beater.
