I seen some pics of a BK&T going through a soda can...now I cant find it for my life....:mad:

It would be interesting to try this with an empty can. I bet the water adds enough rigidity to make it possible.
 
It can be done with no water, but is much more difficult. The best way to practice technique is to gradually reduce the amount of water, that way you don't get frustrated by simply knocking the can around.

If you want to "cheat" you can thin the edge out dramatically as it isn't too demanding on a knife as the metal is soft, however that would limit versatility in a general sense.

The technique I found is maxium speed, with a draw and cut on a angle down into the can to increase friction on the table (or whatever). If you are really skilled try doing it straight across, or cut upwards towards the lip.

Soda, Water, Budwieser...it's all the same.

I wonder what would happen with a 'real' beer in the can...
