I will pay via credit card (MC), which is one you have on file.

I want one (1) Cultellus, #5

Thanks

Rick

Can anyone explain to me why I continue to get my emails to Jerry, Amy, and Garth rejected in this fashion? I am beginning to suspect that their ISP is blocking anything coming from my ISP.

Rick

This is extremely bizarre.

I doubt it's Busse's fault, but this is NOT right.

Do you gents have access to any other e-mail accounts? Even some free ones like a yahoo account?

I think it's time to test these alternate e-mail accounts until you find ones that work every time. I've given up on aolmail -- it always delivered, but was slow in a random and unpredictable way. I've had enormous success with a comcast e-mail account my wife set up for this purpose.

I just forwarded a copy of Rick's e-mail to the Busse Crew -- even though his address has wisely been removed, I hope this will help a bit.

I've seen something similar once before, but it was a while ago and I can't remember the details. I didn't work the problem myself so I only heard it second hand.

The problem was the way in which the ISP's mail server was wrapping the mail messages and the refusal of the receiving server to accept the method. Or something like that. The error messages I saw were more informative than yours though and the receiving server also generated errors that were helpful in the analysis.

I suggest contacting your ISP. You might be quite right about anything from your server to Busse's server being rejected. In which case, something needs fixing at one of them.

Edit: It might have been a problem with outlook's wrapping of the email, that rings a bell. Have you tried using a simple mail program instead to test it? (Try Becky! - that's what I use)

Arrgh - trying to think computer stuff in a scotch-misted brain after a Ganza...

Can a moderator please merge these two threads? I am not sure how I managed to start it twice.
