Mike,
Email me at chuck@woodchuckforge and I will forward your information to him. He normally does not take orders but I will be sure he knows you are interested...

Sent Dan an email. His Asian influence stuff is great. He has taken some time off shows etc to improve his craft. Nice guy too. Glad to call him a friend.

Dan is quietly becoming one of the best nihonto style craftsman in the US in many peoples opinions, one of the better ones in my personal opinion.

Hey guys, just happened to run across this.

I'm still at my regular e-mail addy, dpfan@sbcglobal.net

Mike, if you sent something my way I didn't get it or it ended up in my spam folder. Hit me again.

I have been taking a bit of a break, havn't forgotten about any of you. I've been hard at getting things the way I want 'em, and getting pretty darned frustrated at times. Getting better though.

Ten more years at my full time job and I might be able to do this making thing whenever I want.

Dont let Dans modesty fool you, he is amazing, id easily trade my fowler set for a single Wak from Dan. Id give him 50$ for one of his sketches. AMAZING

Yeah, I'd agree with that - I'm lucky enough to own one of Dan's waks - very nice work.

Dan - hope you're able to find some free cycles in the future to do some more forging!

Before Dan got into his new interest, at a BAKCA show I was able to procure this very nice little knife from him

he had a neat story about the walnut used in the handle too. I love the way he does the handle and over all the knife is very nice.

Wow! There's a couple of blasts from the past.

Hey Jeremy. You know, I havn't been able to have a sword make me as happy as that one when it was done. Kinda like when first learing golf, I could hit that ball wherever I wanted and didn't care. Then, when I started to think I knew what I was doing, I couldn't play worth a poop.

Hey Murray, that's been a bit longer, and that long since I've seen you, I think. Those used to be fun and I should probably get back to those too. Could probably do some embellishment too.

My plan is to pull things together and get back on track here soon. First and foremost is to take care of pending issues and customers, some who've been waiting too long. Next is to get some works finished and up and made available to people on the waiting list, then on to the sales page for the general public. I'm really getting to dislike this always being behind thing and would like to get ahead.

Dan
