Helpful Cleaning tool.

I posted this in the CRK forum but I figured I should also share it here.:thumbup:


Have you ever had gunk stuck between the lockbar and you couldn't get the gunk out with anything? I've been meaning to go to the store to pick up some pipe cleaners to solve that problem. Funny thing is when you go into the store and ask for them, no one knows what they are unless you say "Yeah you know, the stuff you did arts and craft with when we were kids."

Either route, I went to the local WalMart and picked up a pack of 100 for $2. They are way too long so you can cut them in half. 1/2 of a stick can probably last a few cleanings too! :thumbup:

I usually go qtip but I suppose those pipe cleaners would work just as good, interesting never thought of that. I guess I wouldn't use those because the core is metal....MIGHT scratch?

If the Q-tip has too much cotton pull it off, if you need finer cut the q-tip with a knife and it's a plastic toothpick.
