Last Friday I went into a local sporting goods store (MC Sporting Goods-Strongsville, OH) for something and discovered they sell an expanded selection of knives (some Benchmade and Spyderco) which was a pleasant surprise. I've wanted to get a Spydie Native for a while but I didn't want to pay $60-$80 bucks. I'm looking at the display and what do I see? A native 2 SS handle, part serrated blade for $44.95 on sale. And, right next to it was a fully serrated Harpy on sale for $49.95. I have a plain blade Harpy which I like a lot but have wished I ordered a serrated blade originally. I ask to see them both and the guy leaves me there for five minutes and I'm starting to lose my senses and he comes back and asks me if I want to buy one and I say yes, BOTH. Both of these look to be really good blades and I got a very good deal. I just wish I had some self control. Just another sad but true story from the asphalt jungle.

How could you resist!? :D Those are two different styles of blade, so you'll need them both, for sure :p

It must be nice to have a real store to go into to fondle and caress and breathe on and .. ohhh .. here I go again ... ... ... You really do live in the best part of the asphalt jungle!

I think you showed plenty of restraint, I go on a binge for production knives and I'm not happy till I can't keep my pants up from the weight of the knives in my pocket, I bought.

Just Got a Gerber Bolt Action for $15 of EBay.:)

My wife says, "Do you really need another knife?"

To which I reply, "Of coarse I do, I don't own 'em all yet."

Just remember, the one who dies with the most knives wins.:D
