I just stumbled across a site with a darn good section of carbon steel Hen and Rooster slipjoints here. They even have a carbon-steel, bone handled lockback that's roughly the same size and shape as a Buck 112 Ranger. I don't have any connection to the seller and haven't done any business with them - it's just that there are so few places selling carbon steel knives with natural handles that I thought some of you might be interested.

[Note: Not all of the knives on that page are carbon steel, some are stainless. You have to wade through and read each description.]

Lots o' eye-candy there... does anybody know what "corelon" is? It kinda looks like celluloid, but sounds like a kitchen counter material. Kinda neat looking stuff... what is the durability and longevity of this stuff? Any of the problems like with celluloid?
Thanks, Mongo
