Hen and rooster

ive be looking for a Bowie knife to add to the collection like the look of hen and rooster I know they are not as good as they used to be but how good are they like edge retention f&f and how do they stack up against brands like buck Ka bar and case?

I don't know much about Hen and Rooster knives. I know even less about Bowie style knives. However, I am quite familiar with punctuation marks. Lol

I've had a bunch of H&R fixed blades with ram's horn handles and German stainless blades (roughly 440B comp). They are made in Spain, and have very good quality for the $$. All of mine were bought 10-15 years ago, so not sure if the newer ones have held to the same standard. Edge retention is about the same or slightly better than Buck's 420HC. Here is their smaller Bowie @ 9.75 inches, but they make a bigger one at just under 15 inches. The sheaths are quite nice as well.
